Dear Dew Drop

 


One rainy day I was looking out of my window,

outside rain drops were hurrying to get down to the land.

Suddenly I saw you winking at me,

while dancing with your crew on the lotus leaf.

So amazed by your talents I was.

it was impossible to turn your talent into words.

You did it in the flawless way.

I would love to say that,

you were the dancing star.

At last the rain ceased,

and the sun peeped through the clouds.

I had been watching you for so long,

that I didn't even realize.

The sun rays fell upon you,

making you glisten like a diamond.

But did vou ever think,

That I won't be able to see you again?

No dear dew drop,

you will be evaporated to another place.

Life is like that my friend,

Someday whether you like it or not,

You have to leave behind your loved ones,

and go to another place.

Until our journey of life ends,

until we realize the truth.
